Course Overview:

 

This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills required to apply health and safety principles in their work area. Participants will learn about the importance of workplace health and safety, the legal and regulatory requirements for health and safety, and how to identify hazards and assess risks in the workplace. They will also learn how to implement controls to minimize or eliminate risks, and how to develop and implement health and safety procedures and policies.

  • Development of health and safety procedures and policies

Assessment:

​

Participants will be assessed through a combination of written tests and practical exercises. Participants must achieve a minimum of 70% in both the written and practical assessments to receive a certificate of completion

​

Certification:

​

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion. The certificate is valid for 3 years

​

Prerequisites:

​

There are no formal prerequisites for this course. However, participants should have a basic understanding of English and be over the age of 18 years old
