We’re Hiring: Safety, Health and Environment Officer
Location: Centurion | Contract: 2-Year Fixed Term | Salary: Negotiable​​

Key Responsibilities:

​

• Developing and implementing safety plans and other related documents.

• Evaluation of contractors’ competencies knowledge and resources.

• Conduct and review risk assessments and conduct and other related tasks.

• Assessment of contractors’ OHS plans.

• Monitoring implementation and compliance of OHS plan.

• Investigating accidents and injuries that occur in the workplace.

• Training employees on safety protocols and identifying training need.

• Conduct monthly compliance audit.

• Prepare close out reports

• Ensure compliance with OHS legislation and standards on employer’s sites

• Attend tender clarification meetings

• Staying up to date with all the latest health and safety regulations and standards.

• Carry out all position related instructions and ensure that all the company’s construction sites are compliant in terms of the South African Occupational Health and safety Act and any other relevant legislation.

Requirements:

​

• National Diploma in Environmental management/Health/Science / Safety management or equivalent

• Driver’s license

• Valid registration with SACPCMP as CHSO

​
