Course Overview:
This course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to conduct effective planned task observations (PTOs) in the workplace. The course is specifically tailored for the South African audience and complies with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (85 of 1993) regulations.

Course Objectives:

To provide learners with an understanding of the importance of PTOs in identifying workplace hazards.

To equip learners with the skills required to plan and conduct effective PTOs.

To enable learners to identify and evaluate workplace hazards and recommend appropriate control measures.

To provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to communicate PTO findings to management and workers.

The course will be delivered over 1 days, with a total of 8 hours of training.

A written test to assess learners' knowledge of PTO principles and procedures

A practical assessment to evaluate learners' ability to plan and conduct effective PTOs and identify workplace hazards

A workplace assessment to evaluate learners' ability to apply their knowledge and skills in a real-world workplace scenario

Certification:

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate of completion. The certificate is valid for 12 months
